Please see our Solatube page, but the biggest thing to know about Solatube domes--if you have the mounting ring that the dome "snaps" to--you can just buy a dome, but if the dome is missing or broken--you'll have to get an upgrade kit pictured below.

IF YOUR DOME AND FLASHING IS ALL ONE PIECE--WE RECOMMEND CHANGING THEM OUT WITH SOLATUBE PARTS. YOU CAN GO WITH THREE PARTS TO BE ABLE TO ATTACH THE EXISTING TUBING TO THE NEW PARTS OR IF YOUR TUBING IS ATTACHED TO THE DECK--YOU CAN JUST GO WITH THE FLASHING AND DOME KIT.

Tubular domes should always be measured where the dome attaches to the flashing. In the event there is not a flashing--we have a remedy for that as well. We stock flashings and dome kits that can be used with or without a new top tube. The top tube will enable you to attach the existing tubing to the new flashing (if need be.) The plastic dome and flashing combo is not a recommended configuration, but the tubing is usually attached to the deck and so that will eliminate the need for a top tube.
